Anthony Maximilian Onah is a registered Physiotherapist who graduated in 2016 from University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy. Having worked in a variety of settings: hospital based physiotherapy, orthopaedic hospital, ICU, medicine, and post surgical unit, he brings a multifaceted perspective to treatment.
He also has a history of working with people with complex musculoskeletal conditions, athletes, post fracture, post surgery and stroke patients.
Anthony Maximilian is a registered Physiotherapist with Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTB) and a member of Nigerian Society of Physiotherapy (NSP), professional body of Physiotherapists in Nigeria. Dedicated to continuing his education and evolving his skills, he consistently thrives to evolve his practice by merging the most current, evidence based literature with a holistic approach. He is passionate about his work and takes pride in connecting with his patients as they embark on their healing journeys.
His strength is his ability to listen to his clients and provide the education they need to have a successful outcome. He inspires them to make lasting changes in their lives and achieve their goals. He feels the most important aspect of rehabilitation is good communication between client and physiotherapist: ‘it is a relationship where both parties have to complete their assigned tasks’.
Anthony Maximilian, knew he wanted to be a physiotherapist since his early years after his late younger brother had sciatic nerve injury (injection palsy). This motivated his decision to create a difference for people with such or related injury through physiotherapy practice. Anthony Maximilian is a firm believer in practicing what you preach. He has enthusiasm for healthy living and fitness and loves to be active including, running and working out, although most times he does these activities indoors.
